Delivery
- If I'm ordering both furniture and homewares, will I be charged for both deliveries?
- Absolutely not! If you order furniture and homeware products within the same order, your products will be delivered for FREE!
- I've ordered furniture with a delivery lead time of 4 weeks and some homeware items. Will they all arrive in 4 weeks?
- No, any homeware items (that require courier delivery) will be dispatched immediately and will arrive in 2-4 working days. You will be contacted in advance of your furniture delivery by our delivery team to select the next available delivery date.
- What happens on the day of my furniture delivery?
- On the day of delivery, we can contact you one hour prior, on a designated contact number before we arrive. To take advantage of this service, please call us at (+44) 020 308 987 84, and we will inform the relevant distribution center.
- Can I have an order delivered to an address different from the one on my credit card?
- Yes, absolutely. Many of our customers regularly use our website to send gifts to friends, family, or for corporate gifts. Simply add a new delivery address on your account. However, for any furniture items requiring two-man delivery to an alternative address, we will need to speak to the homeowner in advance to select an available delivery date.
- I've ordered multiple items of furniture with different delivery dates. When should I expect to receive them?
- Generally, you should expect to receive all furniture items in one order at the same time. This approach allows us to keep your delivery free as we do not increase your delivery charges when you order multiple furniture items.
Ordering Furniture
- How can I pay for my order?
- We've made it easy for you to pay in the way that suits you best. At checkout, you'll automatically be offered different payment options depending on what you are buying.
- Pay a deposit: For furniture not available for immediate delivery, you'll be asked to pay a deposit at checkout. The amount is up to you, with the minimum being only 15% of your total sale value. We'll be in touch when your furniture arrives to arrange delivery and take the remaining balance. You can also pay the balance in cash on delivery.
- Pay in full: If you prefer to pay in full, that option is always available. We accept almost every kind of credit and debit card, as well as Paypal.
- We've made it easy for you to pay in the way that suits you best. At checkout, you'll automatically be offered different payment options depending on what you are buying.
- How do I add something to my shopping basket?
- Every product we sell has its own product detail page offering a full description, key features, and all pricing information. If your selected item has color, size, or other options, you'll be able to customize it before adding it to your basket. Clicking the 'ADD TO BASKET' icon will add your choice to your basket, where you can select the quantity if you need more than one.
- How do I check out?
- Once you've selected all the items you wish to purchase, please click the 'YOUR BASKET' button. This will give you the option to view your basket in more detail or proceed straight to checkout. You will be prompted to sign in, register, or enter your password, depending on whether this is your first time shopping with us. We strive to keep the registration and sign-in process simple, but we take your online security and privacy seriously and thus request account holder information at key stages in the buying process.
Cancellations and Returns
- What is your returns procedure?
- Please inform us in writing of any returns you wish to make within 14 days of delivery by emailing us at service@jvfurniture.co.uk. Include your name and address, order number, a brief explanation of the reason for your return, and your preferred contact phone number. Upon receipt of your email, a member of our team will assess your return and inform you of the quickest and most efficient way to return your products.
